Heremin is developed by Luca Mattiazzi. This policy covers the Apple Watch app and its iPhone companion.
The orientation of your arm is read from the Watch’s motion sensors only while you play, and turned into sound on the Watch. It is not stored or sent anywhere. The app has no account, server, analytics, advertising or tracking, and makes no network requests. The developer never receives any data.
In this mode your Watch and iPhone measure the distance between them with Apple’s Nearby Interaction, after exchanging identifiers directly with each other through Watch Connectivity. The distance is used only to set the pitch and never leaves your devices.
The app is sold by Apple through the App Store under its own terms and privacy policy. The developer receives no payment details and no personal data from Apple beyond anonymous sales reports.
If you email luca@grokked.it, the developer receives your address and message and uses them to reply. These pages use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The hosting provider processes technical request data such as IP addresses to serve the pages.
